Church Life - Joining In

There are many ways to be the church together, most of which take place outside of our buildings and not during church services. Take a look at some of the ways in which you can get involved and see where you might get stuck in.

Services. We hold a variety of services in different locations, across a range of styles. Meeting together weekly for worship, teaching and encouragement is a core part of being a Christian. Attending a service is one of the best ways of getting to know us, to find out about Jesus and discover what church is all about. You don’t need to believe anything in particular to come along.

Online. Since Covid, we’ve learnt to do lots of things online. See what we do online, and find out how to connect with us there.

Children. We take Jesus’ command to ‘let the little children come to me’ very seriously. Find out about all the ways in which younger members of the church can engage in church life.

Youth. We have a growing group of young people (11-18) who meet together for fun, to learn about Jesus and to grow in faith. Find out more.

Life Groups. Life Groups are small groups of people meeting in one another’s homes to encourage and build one another up through conversation, bible study, prayer and enjoying some social activities together.

Compassion Bereavement Group. Meeting weekly on a Monday in the Parish Centre, this group is for anyone who has lost a loved one and would like to meet with others in the same situation for tea, cake and friendship.

Bellringing. We have a peal of eight bells in Studley Church with regular practices as well as ringing for Sunday services and weddings. The team is always open to new people who would like to learn to ring.
