Linda Salsbury, Ankcorn House booking coordinator

Linda is our Booking Coordinator for Ankcorn House, Mappleborough Green, plus District Church Council Secretary and Deputy Churchwarden for Mappleborough Green church.  She has lived in Redditch near The Church of the Holy Ascension since 1981.  Linda has two grown up children and five grandchildren. Having been widowed in 2019, Linda formally retired in 2020 from the NHS, but finds herself even more busy supporting ad hoc administrative duties for the church, part-time NHS Training at Warwick Hospital and School Exam Invigilator at Arrow Vale school.  Linda is very pro-active serving the local community and the District Church Council (DCC) in promoting affordable room bookings to hire Ankcorn House.  The DCC are always looking for daytime groups - reading groups, yoga classes, therapy courses etc which this venue is ideally suited for, as the building offers a meeting capacity of up to 40 people, depending on the room layout.
