Children’s online service for March 21st 2021

Sunday’s Zoom service on the topic of ‘truth-speaking’ has a parallel video programme about ‘Hope’ for children and families. Youngsters could watch it whilst the main service is on, or it could be watched as a family later. Feedback very welcome.

Big thank you

Thank you to the Studley Isolation Support Group Volunteers from Arden Marches Churches for their fantastic support for our community this year.

Each volunteer was given a gift of cup cakes, truffles, and angel and a card from Dan and Kate.

We thought you might like to see the lovely gifts – thank you to Caroline Martin for organising and Ann Chance for baking!

Studley Angels – can you find one?

This is the link to the Advent Calendar which will help you to hunt for the hidden angels around Studley Each window will open on the date on the front to reveal a picture and a clue to that day’s hiding place. We ask that each child only collects one angel- please don’t hoard them! Please pass on this link to families with children/grandchildren so that lots of people can join in the fun. When you find an angel, you might like to let us know on our Facebook page: @ardenmarcheschurches.

Why not decorate yours and bring it to the Walk Through Nativity on Chistmas Eve (booking required)?

Walk Through Nativity – Christmas Eve 10am-12pm and 4-7pm

Instead of a seated Nativity Service this year, we are offering you a Walk Through Nativity. Come with your household/bubble and join the shepherds, the angels, the magi and the Holy Family as you journey to Bethlehem to see the new born baby.

Booking is essential. You will be offered a range of timed slots between 4-7pm and you must attend in your timed slot only.

16/12/20 => We’ve now released all the available slots for this event, so when they have gone, they’ve gone! However, please do check back in case there have been any cancellations.

The visit will probably take you around 20-30 minutes. We sadly cannot offer dressing-up clothes this year, but children (and adults!) are welcome to arrive dressed as their favourite Nativity Characters.

Ensure you arrive 5 minutes before your timed slot and wait outside the main gate to start on your journey. We regret that late arrivals may not be admitted (this will be at the discretion of the event team on the day) due to social distancing.
