Studley Easter Art Trail

Walking the way of the Cross

From Good Friday through to Easter Monday 2nd – 5th April.

Follow a trail of 15 posters around Studley ending across the river in St Mary’s CofE churchyard.
The artwork and reflections have been prepared by schoolchildren in Warwickshire.

At each poster pause to reflect: scan the QR code on the poster to see readings and questions to help you ponder the Hope of Easter.

Follow the trail as a family, with a friend, or on your own whenever you wish. It is suitable for children and for adults. Please stay 2metres away from anyone in another household. You can complete the whole trail in one go, or
visit different parts of it at different times/different days. When you reach the churchyard you can bring a flower and place it on our Easter Cross.

Reflections on Chaplaincy – on the National Day of Reflection

One year on, former curate of the Arden Marches, Revd Steve Tash has given some short perspectives and thoughts on chaplaincy in the time of pandemic.

Steve is a chaplain with a specialism in mental health, with the University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire and with his colleagues has seen a year like no other.

This video is also available as five shorter segments on our playlist.

Children’s online service for March 21st 2021

Sunday’s Zoom service on the topic of ‘truth-speaking’ has a parallel video programme about ‘Hope’ for children and families. Youngsters could watch it whilst the main service is on, or it could be watched as a family later. Feedback very welcome.

Big thank you

Thank you to the Studley Isolation Support Group Volunteers from Arden Marches Churches for their fantastic support for our community this year.

Each volunteer was given a gift of cup cakes, truffles, and angel and a card from Dan and Kate.

We thought you might like to see the lovely gifts – thank you to Caroline Martin for organising and Ann Chance for baking!
