Uniformed Groups

We have various church-sponsored groups, all of which are invited to attend a service in church at least once per term, to help them explore their promise to ‘develop their beliefs’.

Rainbows

Meets weekly during term time, for girls aged 5-7. Contact Pam Winfield (01527) 853799.

Rainbows is all about developing self-confidence, building friendships, learning new things and having fun. Girls get their hands dirty with arts and crafts, trying out cooking and playing games. Rainbows is all about learning by doing.

Brownies

Meets weekly in during term time, for girls aged 7-10.  Contact Jules Porter (01527 893037)

Brownies can achieve their full potential through a balanced programme of activities whilst having fun with friends. Games, crafts, songs and activities both outdoors and indoors.

We have an average number of 30 girls who meet weekly in term time, we cover interest badges go on day trips and sleepovers in unusual places. We actively engage with the community to help other people and take a responsibility for the wider world.

Guides

For girls aged 10+, meeting weekly during term time. Contact Jo Brocklebank (01527) 857668.

A wide variety of activities are planned for each session which will often include craft, drama, sport, games, quizzes and cooking.  We also work on Guide badges, challenges and ‘Go-For-Its’ which are four week themed projects chosen, planned and executed by each patrol.

The girls love camping and have had several successful camps at Hardiman’s Field in Shipston-on-Stour.
